Making the Kishek spread

  • 6 big spoons kishek
  • 2 red sweet pepper
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • Olive oil

Peel the tomatoes and chop them into very small pieces. Chop onions very small. Chop the pepper very small. In a bowl mix all the ingredients with the Kishek. Add the olive oil until the mixture
is suitable to spread on the dough – it shouldn’t be too loose. Adding sesame is always tasty.

Assembling and baking the Man’oushet

When the dough rises, divide it into 6-8 equal parts. Then you’ll spread the kishek mix on the round small flatbread. Spread in a circular motion evenly throughout the center of the dough, leaving the edges dry.

Bake them in a preheated oven until they’re lightly golden on the edges and underneath. They will puff up and spread slightly while baking in the oven.
